Milling Offcuts

These smaller pieces of live-edge slabs are created at the beginning of the milling process. Sometimes, small bump-outs prevent the full length of the log from going through the mill. We use our chainsaw to make relief cuts, which produce these charming offcuts.

They can be used for many different projects, such as painting canvases, serving trays, taxidermy mounts, or simply as a decorative piece on your desk.

Insider tip: the cedar offcuts emit a delightful natural fragrance.
